2009 - 2010 Membership Information
The purpose of the Westminster PTO is to stimulate, inform and encourage the active participation of parents, teachers, & citizens of Westminster.
BECOME AN ACTIVE MEMBER NOW! Benefits of membership:
* You have an opportunity to hear from the Principal and/or Assistant Principal on a regular basis because they update us at our monthly meetings.
* You can be kept up to date on the School Improvement Council as well by listening to their report.
* You will hear from several Committees, and may find something you want to help with.
* You will be able to vote about what we spend our money on. All of our money is spent on programs and materials that directly benefits kids in our two schools. Come to a meeting and have a say on how we spend money.
* As a PTO member, you’ll know more about what is happening in the schools in general and at
each grade level. You’ll meet a great group of parents who are interested in helping our schools.
WHO CAN BELONG?
Any parent of a student, staff member or resident of town who subscribes to the purposes of the PTO and has paid the annual dues, may become a member. Dues are payable by November 1st of each year. Members may vote at all meetings, become officers, receive regular publications/email correspondence.
